AutoCAD Technician

We're working closely with a key client our ours, who after a series of project wins and repeat business, are looking to recruit a CAD Technician who will hit the ground running.

The business is fairly new, medium-sized consultancy who have quickly built a reputable name for themselves. After only trading for a few years, the firm have been consistent in delivering excellence and providing solutions to challenging briefs.

The company are keen to take on an individual with excellent communication skills, who is able to work effectively under pressure whilst maintain high standards at all times.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years' AutoCAD and Revit experience
• At least 4 years' UK experience
• Small/medium sized consultancy experience
• Previous experience across projects as stated
• Solid CAD skills (2D) - latest version (essential)
• Thorough experience across steelwork detailing, slabs, foundations (plus relevant design materials) (essential)
• Xref management (essential)
• Critical thinking skills, ability to review and assess changes on design documents (essential)

Desirable:

• CAD RC detailing
• Revit (3D) skills
• Exposure working on rail projects

The right person will be positive in their outlook and passionate about what they do. A fairly flexible approach to working hours is also expected due to the nature of the job.
