Principal Geotechnical Engineer

You will be part of a team of over 100 engineers in the UK and will be involved in the development of their newly opened Birmingham office, which currently has 5 engineers and is rapidly expanding. As the Principal Geotechnical Design Engineer, you will be managing the Geotechnical offering for the midlands and working directly with the Head of Geotechnical in London and the design director in Birmingham. You will be directly managing a Geotechnical Design Engineer and will be working on the growth strategy of the office expanding the geotechnical team.

Experience:

• At least 6 Years Geotechnical design experience
• Chartered engineer with ICE
• Experience managing and working on large scale infrastructure projects
• Highly knowledgeable with geotechnical software such as Plaxis 2D & 3D
• Experience mentoring and managing junior geotechnical engineers

A salary of £50,000 - £56,000, dependant on experience
