Senior Civil Engineer ( Drainage & Associated Civil Engineering )

Join a national, UK owned civil and structural consultancy in their highly successful and expanding civil engineering team.  The company is well regarded for its expertise in development infrastructure, planning and development, water engineering and urban design. They are looking for an experienced civil infrastructure manager to help supervise work being carried by their well established civils team. They are busy with a workload throughout the South West region of predominantly commercial, residential and major public sector commissions.

Reporting to the director of civil engineering your role will involve working closely with clients to deliver drainage, associated development infrastructure, retaining walls and foundations. You will plan and allocate work, check designs/ drawings and provide guidance and mentorship to your project team. There will be regular contact with statutory bodies including the Environment Agency, local authorities and Highways England. This requires good communication skills, with the ability to forge productive working relationships with clients and external representatives. You should be qualified to degree or HND level and ideally be an incorporated or chartered engineer with the ICE, CIWEM or IHT.
