About the role

Leading Highways Construction Services whilst managing service performance and capital and revenue budgets, this role also encompasses responsibility of the overall management of the Swinton Hall Road depot operations. The post holder will provide strong leadership, clear direction and support to the Technical Services teams whilst instilling an entrepreneurial spirit across the Place directorate to deliver on the City Mayor’s priorities for our City. The role involves responsibility for the delivery of a Citywide Highways Asset Management Strategy for Salford City Council’s Highways assets valued over £2bn, ensuring that services are delivered in line with agreed policies and targets.
