Project structural engineer is required to join this cutting edge dynamic structural consultancy. They have lovely office space a short walk from Wimbledon station.

The firm is a medium sized practice, having less than 20 staff; very busy and in the process of expanding. They work on the design of commercial, residential and education buildings, both new build construction and refurbishment. Their projects range in value, with an average of £10-15 million, but sometimes work on projects up to a value of £120 million!

The use of 3D analysis tools and 3D modelling are adopted as standard for complex problem solving to ensure even the most bespoke structures can be documented in the best possible way to simplify the construction phase.

You need to be a well rounded structural engineer with several years of varied UK buildings design experience. You need to be used to dealing with architects and clients too so excellent communication skills are essential.

The office is a modern and pleasant environment in a sought after location close to shops, restaurants, tram and rail. Regular staff social events are arranged, such as canoeing trips in the New Forest and they even have a BBQ area on the office balcony. Staff retention is excellent here, which is hardly a surprise!

Additionally, this position comes with a range of benefits, on top of a competitive salary, including 25 days annual Leave, company pension scheme and a subsidised gym membership!

Ideally, you will be nearing or recently Chartered - there are lots of regular CDP sessions here and the company even employ a retired ICE examiner for additional Chartership support.

This is a fantastic job opportunity.
