You'll be joining a privately owned architectural glazing company with a 20 year track record as a Structural Engineer based in Lisburn, Co Down.

With an impressive portfolio of works, a progressive approach to design techniques and an ever-growing order book, this company rapidly becoming the go to designer for architectural glazing and facades in Northern Ireland.

Your new role

As Structural Engineer you will produce structural calculations for building facades and provide structural advice to Facade Designers as required to assist with the completion of projects.

You'll be the technical lead on the structural input and work closely with an experienced team of architectural designers.

Specifically, you'll produce structural calculations for curtain walling systems, rainscreen systems, structural glass and other building facades in accordance with British and Euro Codes, produce glass design calculations and assist the estimating department with initial tender calculations.

What you need to succeed

You'll need a BEng Hons in Structural or Civil Engineering at classification 2.1 or above, proven experience as a
Structural Engineer, experience using 3D Modelling tools for example Rhino/ Grasshopper and proficiency using AutoCAD.

Ideally, you'll be based within a commutable distance of Lisburn and experience designing aluminium glass is a bonus.
