A leading environmental and civil engineering consultancy are seeking to recruit an Environmental Engineer or Environmental Scientist on a permanent basis.

With a recognized brand name in the industry with a track record in waste management for over 30 years, this consultancy act as designer and independent advisor on waste facility developments from feasibility to construction phase.

The senior members of the team are highly respected within their field and are regularly asked to give presentations to industry bodies giving you and your new employer some added exposure.

Your new role

As Environmental Engineer or Environmental scientist you'll work closely with Directors and the wider team to create waste management plans, carry out feasibility studies, waste flow modelling and planning applications.

You'll have a prominent position within the team and have the opportunity to mentor junior staff and take ownership of your projects.

What you need to succeed

You will ideally have a degree in civil or environmental engineering with 5 years industry experience however candidates with less experience and exceptional experience to date will be considered.

Ideally you'll have experience in a waste management consultancy, Pollution Prevention Permit Applications, Waste Management Licensing, contaminated land risk assessments and a good understanding of environmental waste legislation.
