Your new role
Your new role as a Principal Infrastructure Engineer will be within a team that delivers creative solutions for civil engineering infrastructure projects for a wide variety of sectors. You will be undertaking the design and project management on various civil infrastructure related projects and assisting in the Company's business development. You will be responsible for sourcing opportunities and preparing fee proposals for submission to client, including resources and programmes. You will work closely within a team of professionals designing building infrastructure schemes, performing analyses and calculations as appropriate. There are 3 channels from which the civils team receives work - civil led projects, transport planning related infrastructure projects & civils to support the building structures team.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have graduated in Civil Engineering or equivalent with experience of Infrastructure Engineering in directly relevant fields. The ability to deliver design solutions, assessment calculations, lead teams and successfully manage projects is essential, along with a solid track record of having worked on a variety of infrastructure projects and dealing directly with clients. You will need to be highly motivated with excellent communication skills and ideally chartered or looking to get chartered. You will need a good level of drainage design experience and knowledge of operating within the South Wales region.
