Civils Technician

We are working with one of our key clients, a leading multi-disciplinary firm, to assist them in their search for a creative & skilled Civils Technician to join the team in their Cambridge office on a full-time permanent basis.

The successful Civils Technician will be required to assist engineers by developing detail design and preparing drainage and road CAD working drawings and specifications within a dynamic & supportive environment.

Although based in Cambridge the Civil Technician will be required to work from home initially and must have the ability to do this. It is the intention that post Covid-19 the successful candidate will be required to work in the Cambridge office at least one day a week.

Projects: Commercial, Healthcare, Educational and more.

Requirements:

• Fully proficient with AutoCAD,
• Civils 3D would be ideal but is not essential,
• Experience working on residential infrastructure projects is essential,
• Experience of preparing section agreements would be desirable,
• Excellent communication skills both written & verbal,
• Good working knowledge of the relevant Codes of Practice & Design Standards,
• The confidence to work with minimal supervision, managing your own workload effectively.
