Temporary Works Engineer

This highly regarded civil & structural engineering consultancy provides flexible working and challenging work on high profile projects. The position is design focused with regular site and client visits, with the option to be home based some of the week.  They are looking for an experienced, degree qualified engineer with a background that includes the design of basements, foundations, temporary works, piling and structures. Their specialist expertise is in high demand and attracts healthy fee margins. Projects are predominantly in Central London covering permanent and temporary works engineering. Good interpersonal skills are essential, you will work closely with contractors and developers. In addition, there will be junior engineers and technicians to guide and manage. Their current workload includes adding basement levels to one of London’s historic entertainment venues, several central London projects requiring façade and basement retention and a range of commercial, rail and residential schemes.
