Civil Design Engineer

Conrad Consulting is supporting a Tier 1 consulting engineer in their efforts to appoint a Civil Design Engineer to their Infrastructure team in Edinburgh.

While some businesses are experiencing a downturn in work due to the on-going market conditions, our client has just posted their strongest quarter to date through lockdown. Their pipeline is very strong and their forecasts show target for the coming quarter will be exceeded comfortably. They have an incredibly diverse portfolio with the Edinburgh hub running projects on multiple continents with work in various sectors, which has ultimately ensured their stability in these challenging times.

You will be joining a team of around a dozen technical staff which includes Civil Engineering Technicians and other Civil Engineers. You will predominantly work on development infrastructure projects and work will come from various sectors from commercial builds to renewable energy.

About you:

• High level of competency using Civil 3D or similar
• Ideally degree qualified, although those coming from a Technician route will be considered equally
• Experience running development infrastructure jobs in the UK
• Familiar with DMRB

On offer is a competitive salary ranging from £34,000 - £40,000 depending on your specific experience. Those who are chartered will be considered at a slightly higher salary banding.
