Project Engineer - Housing & Planning

Project Engineer required by a local authority in North London to work on housing and planning.

The successful candidate will be expected to undertake projects primarily within the Parking Schemes Team where they will project manage the varying aspects of Controlled Parking Zone design. This will include implementing new and reviewing existing Controlled Parking Zones and Traffic Management Order preparation. The post holder will have excellent writing skills and be able to prepare parking consultation outcome reports to a high standard.

The post holder may also be expected to undertake work in one or more of the of the following areas:

• Traffic engineering schemes including traffic calming and management schemes. Local Safety Schemes, Safer Routes to School etc., London Cycle Network Schemes & Walking Scheme
• Maintenance of Footways and Carriageways
• Bus Priority Schemes, i.e. Section 106 etc and associated signal designs, other externally
• AutoCAD designs
