We are working with an established consulting structural engineering practice who pride themselves on offering creative structural design. They are looking for a talented Senior Structural Engineer to join them in their offices in Cambridge on a full time permanent basis. The ideal candidate will be an ambitious and dedicated Senior Structural who will have extensive experience of design work using a range of primary construction materials.

They need a motivated and organised individual with a passion for engineering and a hands on approach who is keen to develop within the role and the team as it grows.

Projects: domestic, retail, leisure - both new build and alteration work.

Requirements:

  • A degree in civil or structural engineering,
  • A Chartered Engineer,
  • At least 5 years' UK project experience,
  • Experience of managing projects from conception to completion,
  • Confidence in managing client expectations and attending design meetings,
  • Excellent knowledge across a range of building materials (to British Standards & Eurocodes).
