The Engineering Design Team is looking for a number of experienced Highway Engineers to join our expanding team. We have both Full Time (37 hours per week) and Part Time (22+ hours per week) opportunities, with normal working days being Monday to Friday.
With the support of a Principal Engineer Team Manager, you'll play a leading role in agreeing project briefs with our internal clients and taking projects through from concept to completion, assisted by our team of Engineering Technicians and Assistant Engineers.
You'll have a proven track record in the design and delivery of a wide range of highway projects and be able to demonstrate a wide-ranging knowledge of design standards and delivery processes.
You'll be experienced in contract preparation and administration, as well as dealing with contractors. It would be an advantage if applicants could demonstrate a good understanding of delivering cycle, bus priority and public realm infrastructure in an urban environment.
We'd welcome applications from engineers who can demonstrate appropriate experience in writing contract documents and who have a track record of administering NEC contracts. Applicants will be proficient and able to guide others in the use of computer-based methods for design, document preparation and project programming.
