Your new role
In your new role you will be carrying out the design of a mixed bag of civil engineering schemes including the design of roads and drainage, inspections, surveys, reports, calculations, drawings, contract administration along with job management. The projects will vary across a number of different sectors including education, commercial, residential, mixed-use, strategic land, regeneration and more.
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally have a degree in Civil Engineering and be experienced in the design and management of a range of civil engineering works including liaising with external parties, knowledge of civil engineering principles, approval procedures and good numerical and communication skills. Excellent analysis and technical design skills in AutoCAD, WinDES MicroDrainage and Civil 3D (or equivalent design software packages such as PDS) are essential.

Training and mentoring will be offered to ensure that you are able to develop your skill set and progress your career as a technician, and support through professional qualifications will be offered.
