Decontamination Technician

Working for a health care company to provide maintenance to medical equipment, mainly electrical.

Your new company
They are an established company that operate in the healthcare industry. They are based in the North West and are driven to ensure that their services are to a high standard in order to ensure the best environment possible.

Your new role
You will be carrying out PPM on the site and also responding quickly to breakdowns when needed. The equipment you will work on consists of washer disinfectors, sterilisers and other departmental equipment. Maintenance and testing will also be carried out on autoclaves and water testing in adherence to certain compliance regiments. You will be working on an on-call rota occasionally.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed you will need to be qualified in either electrical/mechanical maintenance and have 5 years post apprenticeship experience. You will need a valid and clean drivers license. You will also need to have or be working towards a qualification in Decontamination, although training can be provided. You need to be able to work unsupervised and have experience within a healthcare or NHS setting.

What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of over £30,000. You will also receive 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays. Pension contributions and support for healthcare are also provided.
