Senior Structural Engineer | Clear Route to Part Owner ! Glasgow or Edinburgh | £40,000 to £55,000

A very successful Structural Engineering Consultancy that deliver to the highest quality, predominantly on a variety of building projects within the residential, commercial, industrial, institutional and energy sectors.Repeat work from notable, longstanding clients is testimony to this Companies standard of work and success in building strong relationships. Due to their consistent growth and increase in workload, they are now looking to employ a Senior Structural Engineer, who will be given a clear route to achieve part ownership should they want it, to help drive the company forward and continue their top quality service.
Your new role
In your new role you will be fully involved in Project design from commencement to completion and will be responsible for preparing/checking structural design calculations. You will work with and manage other Engineers and Technicians to enable the smooth running of projects. You will represent the organisation at design team meetings with key clients and stakeholders and will be heavily involved in the business development of the company. You will maintain records in accordance with ICE or IStructE.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a Chartered Structural Engineer, or working well towards chartership, with proven experience and success in the quality design of a variety of building structures. You will have excellent communication skills to allow effective teamwork with other staff and for client liaison. You will have a good understanding of the building process, design management, building process and ultimately know how to interact with other stakeholders in the construction process.
