Civil Design Engineer - South Wales

Your new company
Your new company are a multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Bridgend, South Wales. They specialise in the design of small scale structures, structural surveyors, drainage design, flood risk, highways and general infrastructure schemes. They work on a varied portfolio of projects with clients falling into the residential, commercial, industrial and leisure sectors.
Your new role
Your new role will consist of designing infrastructure schemes across a variety of schemes, including Hotels & Leisure, Commercial projects, Residential Developments and Industrial work. Within this, you will be carrying out technical designs, surveys, reports, calculations and drawings to provide a high quality of service to your clients. You will also be able to attend site visits and take a hand on approach to each project you undertake.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have experience of working within the South Wales Infrastructure industry, with a sound knowledge of SAAB designs and Section 38 / 278 agreements. You will be competent in the use of MicroDrianage & AutoCAD, with a drive to develop on your existing technical & professional industry experience. You will be comfortable working within a close knit team and happy to liaise with other disciplines both internally and externally.
