A multi-disciplinary design consultancy requires a Senior Civil Engineer to join their team in London. The office is very high spec with a great working environment and based near Moorgate so very accessible.
There are currently 8 people in the Civil & Structural team and around 160 in the company as a whole, made up of Architects, Surveyors, Planners and Projects Managers.
The ideal candidate with have several years experience as a Civil Design Engineer and be able to work independently, leading projects. You must be experienced in the design of sustainable drainage schemes and estate roads in relation to building structures and developmentents.
You will be working on a variety of projects, including residential, industrial and commercial projects. The projects range in size and involve complex engineering, sure to keep you interested and motivated.
You will focus on the civils aspects of each project, design roads and drainage. You must be a 'go getter' and have the drive to progress.
I have met the Directors of the company in person and they emphasised the investment they will make in individuals, with regular train, including new software; they are incredibly forward thinking.
The salary is very competitive as well as a bonus scheme.
