Site Agent/ Section Manager | Highways | Hertfordshire
Your new role
Manage directly Civil Works Section/Package Team on site, which will include:
Civil Works Section Engineers/Supervisors
Civil Works Site Engineers (Setting Out)
May include direct labour, plant and material management
Efficiently manage site programmes as agreed with the client and stakeholders; meeting deadlines and expected work outputs
Chair/attend regular Section Sub-Contract progress and co-ordination meetings
Ensure that Section Sub-Contractor work is competently carried out in strict compliance with drawings
Assist Commercial Team in all aspects of management of the Section Sub-Contractor's account.
Providing support and continual guidance for the team
Ensure all activities meet with requirements for quality management, health and safety, legal stipulations, environmental policies and general duty of care
Maintain resource levels of labour, plant and materials
Complete daily diaries, briefings and safety documentation
Lead, motivate and direct your teams on all work streams to ensure high working standards.
Maintain high levels of Health and Safety on site at all times.
Ensure a number of daily inspections are completed on Trade Operatives / nominated sub-contractors
What you'll need to succeed
HND/Degree Qualified as a minimum
10+ years experience in major Civil Engineering projects (i.e. Water/Highways/Infrastructure)
5+ Years in Management roles

SMSTS
CSCS Card
