Associate Geo-Environmental Engineer

An award winning consultancy based in Milton Keynes is looking to appoint an Associate Geo-Environmental Engineer to their Environmental team. They have been very busy despite the current climate with a steady workflow throughout all their disciplines, having maintained all of their contracts, as well as winning new business.

The Role: Associate Geo-Environmental Engineer

Company Size: Medium Sized Consultancy. (Multiple offices across the UK). Civil, Structural and Environmental Teams. Over 50 members of staff.

Location: Milton Keynes (flexible working is on offer)

Direct Reports: 13 junior geotechnical and geo-environmental engineers

Reporting into: Environmental Director

Projects: Small to medium sized projects with contract values of circa £30 million.

Residential, commercial, industrial, transport, healthcare, and education projects.

About you:

• At least 10+ years of experience within the geo-environmental/geotechnical/ engineering geology/ ground engineering sector
• Experience working and managing a wide range of GI and contaminated land projects
• Experience mentoring and managing junior environmental engineers
• Relevant degree in either geology/ earth science or equivalent
• Preferably chartered with CGeol, however this is not mandatory
