Traffic Marshall required to join a busy project in the heart of Taunton


Your new job

Your new job as a Traffic Marshall will involve working on construction sites and roadways to ensure the safe inbound and outbound movement of large vehicles and plant. You will help to plan and plot the movement of vehicles, ensuring traffic routes are preserved. You will also be responsible for the recording of personnel of people visiting site by booking people in, undertaking COVID checks or checking ID.


What you'll need to succeed in your new job
In order to succeed in your job as a Traffic Marshal you will need to be able to demonstrate experience and reliability working for contractors and on construction sites previously in a similar role.
You will need:

• CSCS card
• Traffic Marshal / Banksperson Qualification or the willingness to obtain one using the learning stations online course
• PPE: Hi-vis, Hard Hat, Steel toe capped boots

What you'll get in return
In return for undertaking your job as a Traffic Marshal you will receive an hourly rate of pay. For this role your rate will be paid up to £12.26 per hour. Your new role will have a duration commitment of up to 3 months, which could potentially extend further. If your contract doesn't extend, then Hays will look to secure your next placement upon receipt of a positive finishing reference.
