4D BIM Technician

Our client is a global engineering consultancy firm who are well-known within the industry for their extensive Structural, Civil, Digital, Geotechnical & Construction engineering expertise.

They are urgently seeking a 4D BIM Technician to join them on a contract basis to work on a range of complex & iconic projects.

You will be required to work from home with interviews conducted by Microsoft teams.

Responsibilities

• Delivering 4D models to the projects construction programme,
• Attending design meetings and showcasing latest 4D models to facilitate better design decisions from the team,
• Refining 4D models both during design meetings and after.
• Assist with the development and implementation of Synchro office standards,
• Be eager to explore emerging technologies in the 4D/VDC space and work with the company in-house platform 'Reveal' based on a gaming engine.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years construction industry experience,
• Fully proficient in Synchro Pro - at least 3 years practical experience,
• Preparation of construction programmes using either Asta, MS Project or Primavera,
• Expertise in Autodesk Revit or Bentley MicroStation (Open Buildings) preferred but not essential,
• Knowledge and expertise in construction methodologies.
