A Transport Planning Consultancy is recruiting for a Senior/Associate Transport Planner, to join their team in Maidstone, Kent.


The company is part of a wider, multi-disciplinary consultancy who cover highways design, town planning, flood risk assessments etc. They have two offices, on ein Kent and the other in East Sussex. There is the potential for you to split your time between both offices and there is potential for some home working arrangement as well.

You will be joining one of the two transport planning teams in Maidstone and reporting in to the Director. You will be second in command of the team you join and will be expected to help more junior members of staff in their development.

The consultancy is involved in a wide variety of projects for both private and public sector clients. Your team is mainly focussed on the public sector and have been involved in projects such as leisure centres, schools and car parks for local authorities.

The ideal candidate will have several years experience in Transport Planning, at least some of which to have been based in a consultancy. Junctions 9 software proficiency would also be beneficial but the key skills they are looking for is your report writing and project management.

The job title and salary is negotiable, depending on your level. Age is not a barrier here and there are excellent opportunities for progression. This is a great opportunity for someone to advance their career and join a well established company with exciting projects.
