Your new role
Your new company are now looking for a Structural BIM Modeler to join their Cardiff office. This role will involve the development of BIM Execution Plans with support from the group BIM Manager. You will also be coordinating models using model review software such as Navisworks, Solibri and Revizto. A key part of your role will be supporting the project team with technical delivery using Revit, as well as producing structural models. You will also be working with the Project Manager, BIM Manager and discipline Engineers to define deliverable schedules and implementing these within the model.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have experience in providing technical support for Revit and AutoCAD, as well as experience of using Navisworks simulate or manage to conduct visual audits and clash detection. A BTEC HNC or higher in an Engineering, Construction, Management, or Architecture related field, and be prepared to work towards (and achieve) professional qualification (EngTech). The perfect candidate will have an understanding of model and drawing production using Tekla Structures, alongside experience of producing and reviewing BIM Execution Plans, EIRs, and other project BIM documentation.
