Senior Civil Engineer

If so then this could be the ideal role for you. Due to continued success and growth my client is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join their expert team. Initially you will be required to work from home with interviews conducted by Microsoft teams however, once employees return to their offices you will be able to join this team in their office in Manchester.

The successful candidate will undertake all aspects of the design from pre-planning, conceptual design through to the production of as-built drawings. Offering client care and advice that few can match - this consultancy holds an enviable reputation and can offer genuine career progression.

Responsibilities:

• Production of Civil Engineering work packages relating to medium to large predominantly private development projects from initial concept through to completion
• Production of flood risk assessments (FRA's), Drainage strategies and calculations for planning and other statutory consents
• Working closely with other disciplines on Multi-discipline projects
• Representing the company at external meetings with clients, contractors and fellow professionals
• Responsible for delivering work to a fee and to timescales agreed with a Project Manager
• Prepare client / project proposals

Qualifications:

• A degree in civil of structural engineering,
• Significant experience in a similar role, ideally within a private practice
• Chartered or near chartered civil engineer
• Familiar with drainage design, SUDS, highways, cut and fill analysis
• Good working knowledge of key software packages including civils 3D
• Experience working closely with clients.
