CNC Miller/Programmer

Working for a close knit company producing components for the aerospace industry mainly on Mazak machines.

Your new company
They are a precision engineering company based near Burnley working in multiple different industries providing various components. The company has expanded and gone from strength to strength diversifying the markets they operate in and the products they manufacture.

Your new role
You will be working on Mazak and Doosan milling and turning machines. You will be aiding in the programming and setting of machines when timescales need to be adjusted. You will be working off of engineering drawings from the office which will require you to set up the relevant components. Deburring of components will be required sometimes. In regards to the machines, there are preventative plans in place so you will be required to aid in these duties. You will have to complete relevant documentation as well.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to hold relevant qualifications in CNC machining and have CADCAM software experience, ideally Featurecam. Mazak experience is desirable and you will need to be able to project plan, programme and design work from drawings. Ideally aerospace experience and you will need to be innovative and help move their milling section forward.

What you'll get in return
You will receive a rate of £12.60+ DOE and you will be working a days based role working 37.5 hours per week. You will also receive 32 days annual leave including bank holidays. There is also overtime available with the company. You will also receive pension contributions.
