Field Service Engineer

Technical Service Representative | Bury based but UK wide travel | Up to £40,000 + bonus

Your new company is a large manufacturing business who are seeking a Technical Service Representative to join their busy team to be the face between the business and their UK wide customers.

Your new role
Your new role will be spent travelling across the UK responding to customers needs regarding their equipment. During this role, you will be collecting and recording data, completing statistical analysis, alter machine settings to optimise performance and report back to the sales teams. During this role you will also be identifying any new business opportunities for the team, communicate any extra features that customers might be interested in and report any market changes/treads that might effect business. As you are the main point of contact for all customers, you will be ensuring the highest of customer service standards and dealing with any complaints along with other ad hoc duties.

What you'll need to succeed
For this role, you must have excellent experience working on technical machines and if you are process engineer trained then this will be beneficial. You will need engineering qualifications and experience in FMCG or paper industries. You must be able to perform statistical data analysis, be a team player and have a positive attitude. You must be an effective communicator, to deal with clients at all levels of the business, be organised and have strong prioritisation skills and you must be able to work on your own for long periods of time. You will need strong mechanical and electrical skills and a valid UK driving license.

What you'll get in return
This position is offering a competitive salary of up to £40,000 for the right candidate, with an annual bonus following your first full year. As the role involves a lot of travelling away from home, potentially at short notice, for several days at a time, you will be provided a company car and the rest of the time you will be working from home. You must have a full valid UK driving license and you will receive other benefits also. You will receive 30 days annual leave and they will double what you contribute into your pension up to 12%.
