Stantec is looking for a Senior/Principal Engineer to join our Civil Infrastructure team in Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy and ambitious group with a strong forward workload. We have been at the heart of the South West community for many years and are now looking at further expansion.

Our projects include a wide range of public and private sector schemes that include some significant development, infrastructure and regeneration projects from small scale local schemes to larger national frameworks.

On a day to day basis, you will play an important role within our team. You will support the production of drainage/highway designs and provision for all types and scales of development projects and assist in securing S278/S38 and S104 technical approvals. You will work with Engineer and Technician colleagues in the effective delivery of outputs to agreed deadlines.

You will liaise with the internal and external clients and design teams on projects and be involved in the delivery and management of successful and timely outcomes. Your role will be varied and challenging, and you will have the opportunity to learn from the wider group and take your career to the next level.

About you

You’ll be a BSc qualified and Chartered (or working towards Chartership). Preferably, you will have expertise in highway and civil infrastructure design to deliver multi-disciplinary projects for the entire lifecycle – from concept, feasibility and planning through to detailed design and delivery. Skills with Civils 3D are advantageous.

You will be ambitious, forward thinking and innovative. Your passion and experience of delivering quality infrastructure design solutions is most crucial to your success in this role.
