Your new role
Your new role as a Senior Drainage Engineer will be to design and deliver cost effective and technically sound design solutions for drainage schemes in accordance with the Forward Programme. You will be delivering an incredibly diverse range of road, bridge and tunnel projects - from planning and programming stage through to delivery, maintenance and operation. You will be working as part of the No.1 highways and tunnel maintenance team across the country, delivering over £1 billion of social value by maintaining 31,000km of roads used by six million people in their everyday lives.
What you'll need to succeed
For this role you will need to be computer literate with competent ability and knowledge of MS Office Suite and the use of drainage software including WinDES. You will have BEng in Civil Engineering with appropriate experience for the role alongside IEng with appropriate Institution (ICE, CIWEM, CIHT) desirable. You will also have a working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civils 3D, Revit, Navisworks, Windes/Microdrainage, FEH, Flow modelling experience, Microsoft word/project/excel and KTF / Moss.
