Project Coordinator job in Utilities sector, based in Warrington with an expanding company offering £25000

Your new company
Founded in 2006, our utilities client has seen huge year on year growth and more than a decade later, are operating out of three UK offices. They are responsible for the utilities Infrastructure Installations for a range of clients who see them as market leaders. They are currently about to embark on an extraordinary journey of growth and new market exploration, and they are looking or the right people to be part of their future. They are now looking for a Project Coordinator to join the tendering team.


Your new role

  • Work directly for the Tendering Manager as part of the Commercial Team.
  • Coordinate and manage a portfolio of new enquiries and tender requests nationally
  • Using all information provided and own knowledge to understand and interpret technical Multi-Utility enquiry information provided by The Client.
  • Using the above to set up a new project and make the necessary applications to Statutory Authorities.
  • Work closely and liaise with the Sales Team, the Estimating Team and Design Team as required throughout the tender process.
  • All aspects of business support throughout the entire tendering lifecycle, from instruction to quote by the Sales Team, through to contract award.
  • admin support to the teams
  • Create a new project in the System inputting all relevant project details, including a project description, and adding relevant project members.
  • Ensure the correct quotation target date is detailed within the System.
  • Ongoing update and maintenance of project folders as and when third party applications or information is returned.
  • Attend internal Tender Review meetings as required
  • Request and obtain all available existing utility records and save them within project folders.

What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally have utilities experience in a similar support role. computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft word and excel. Good organisational skills. Able to demonstrate good attention to detail. You will have a good good attitude and want to help in making a contribution to the team.

What you'll get in return
£20,000 - £25,000 salary depending on experience 40 hours working week ( 8 hours per day Mon-Fri with scope to flex start and finish time outside of core hours) Office based in Warrington long term, but home working certainly for the foreseeable. 23 days holiday plus bank holidays (should increase to 25 days with length of service) Company pension scheme.
