Senior Associate Director/Associate Director Rail

An exciting opportunity has just hit the market, and we're pleased to be working alongside our highly reputable client to recruit for the newest member of their team.

They're industry giants with an international status, famous for their various high-profile projects around the world. The selected candidate will have the title as Senior/Associate Director of Rail, and will be based in one of the National offices.

The role will be supporting and helping manage the Infrastructure department. You'll need excellent technical knowledge and ability to provide our clients with commercially focused solutions.

Responsibilities:

Working alongside the Rail Director to manage and deliver high value programme of major multi-disciplinary infrastructure bids & projects on time and to budget Undertaking a managerial role of rail projects from beginning to final stages (including management of costs, scope, quality, health & safety and so on) Working with the Rail Director to enhance client and market engagement to support wider rail sector growth, including frameworks/contracts Understanding client's business needs to ensure you're adhering to their requirements and they are confident in the firm's ability to deliver the projects Monitoring and applying performance management techniques

Requirements:

Eng in engineering Chartered status (C.Eng /MIStructE) Full UK driving licence 10 + years in the UK Rail sector, within an engineering discipline/multidiscipline rail projects Undertaken CEM/CRE or Project management role on multidisciplinary rail infrastructure projects Familiar with Network Rail TfL and major contractor clients' delivery process through demonstrable project experience Familiar with public sector framework procurement, management and delivery Project management qualifications preferable
