Your new role
You will be in a key role for the company. You will be in charge of day to day running of the Engineering and Maintenance aspect of the site such as job scheduling, shift planning and holiday planning. You will be in charge of developing PPM programmes to ensure that maintenance tasks are carried out according to best practise and records are maintained. You will ensure maintenance requirements are kept in line on boilers, gas testing and other legal requirements. The role is days based from 8am - 4:30pm and and early Friday finish. You will have to monitor expenses and identify stock requirements and identify savings if possible. You will liaise with production and report to the directors of the company.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need experience in a similar role, within a fast paced environment. You will need a minimum of a HNC in Mechanical/Electrical engineering and a good understanding of costs, timescales and maintenance schedule generation. You will need a flexible approach to working hours and be able to effectively communicate with the rest of your team and the directors.

What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary up to £45,000 DOE and the annual leave days consist of 28 days including bank holidays. You will also be given statutory pension contributions and you will be in charge of a skilled team.
