Senior Structural Engineer

Conrad Consulting is now recruiting for a leading Structural Engineering business located in Manchester as they look to appoint a Senior Structural Engineer to their team.

You will report to the Director and essentially be the 'number 2' in the office which will offer a clear progression route to Associate soon after joining as our client continues with their expansion plan.

Wither multiple offices in UK our client is well established and has a significant foothold in the flagship development space with a very impressive portfolio. They have a large pipeline of work which includes large commercial developments, education facilities, science & tech, sports & leisure, medical facilities and much more.

If you enjoy a varied workload including large, small, complex, and quirky designs then this opportunity will offer you the full spectrum of challenges.

ABOUT YOU

You should ideally be Chartered and working for another mainstream structural engineering firm in the local market.

Given the nature of this opportunity and the progression route, you should have ambitions of running your own team or potentially already have experience doing so.

Beyond this, you should:

• Have a varied portfolio of developments to include mainstream building structures and use of common construction materials in the UK
• Be a confident and effective communicator
• Be able to work closely with multi-disciplinary colleagues and other external specialists
• Have an interested in the commercial elements of the role including fee proposals, budget planning, financial & resource management etc

ON OFFER

Our client offers a very competitive remuneration package which includes a basic salary of £42,000 to £50,000 + benefits depending on experience.
