Structural Engineer working for an established multi-disciplinary consultancy in Greater Manchester.



Your new company
Your new company is a well known multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy based in the Greater Manchester. They have a rich history in the North West and provide a good standard of work across the UK. Typically the structural engineering team tends of work on a range of commercial and residential schemes, both new build and refurbishments. The office is nicely fit out, and easily commutable to from Greater Manchester, Lancashire and parts of Cheshire.

Your new role
In your new role you will be working closely with like minded passionate chartered engineers, delivering a range of commercial and residential projects. You will be heavily involved in structural design and provide suitable calculations. You will be working with a variety of materials, but a lot of project work will involve steel frame, portal frame and reinforced concrete. You will have opportunity for progress within this position, with the aim for this engineer to become chartered.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will need to come from a strong structural engineering background, ideally having between 2-4 years experience working on building structures projects. Ideally you need to have experience with steel frame, portal frame or reinforced concrete projects, and be confident running calculations.
You must have UK project experience and relevant Eurocodes is also important for this role.
