Skilled CNC Machinist
Working as a machinist in either Milling or Turning, set, edit and operate on multiple machines

Your new role
You will be setting and operating CNC machines such as Mori Seiki turning and milling machines amongst other. You will practice the 5S principles and have to work with quality documentation and engineering drawings. You will need to contribute to continuous improvement in the working environment and use inspection equipment to measure tolerances.You will work either days, nights, or twilight shifts as they are all available over a 38 hour working week.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be time served or hold an equivalent qualification and have experience of stainless steel and machine programming using Mazak, Fanuc or Okuma controls. You will need experience in a role similar and be used to working to tight tolerances. You will need to be able to work unsupervised and be able to operate computers for data purposes and read engineering drawings. Conventional machining ability would be preferred as well.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a rate between £12 - £14 p/h dependent on skill level which can be topped up by being flexible with hours. You will also receive 32 days annual leave including bank holidays and you will receive pension contributions and the rest of the package after probation.
