Up to £60,000 per annum (Permanent) or (Part Considered)

A leading consultant firm in central London are looking for a Lead Innovation Consultant. As a senior member of the team, you will play a key role in the delivery of innovation consultancy projects, business development and shaping the direction of the practice. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in consulting, in addition to relevant domain knowledge and expertise from one or more of: construction, engineering, infrastructure, innovation delivery and/or innovation strategy. The role comprises:

Leading the technical and commercial delivery of innovation consultancy projects, including:commercial and technical management of projects using our systems and processes.planning and implementation of research activitiesdesign and facilitation of workshops for idea generation and evaluationreport writingpresentation preparation and deliveryBusiness Development, including:developing and maintaining productive client relationshipsidentifying and securing new business opportunitiessupporting marketing, website development and social media activities.using our systems and processes to support management of the BD pipeline.Participation in cross-trust activities. Membership of an appropriate professional body such as ICE, CIBSE, IMechE, IStructE, CIWEM (or similar) and ideally be chartered.A wide grounding in, and understanding of, the innovation challenges facing the construction sector. Consultancy skills

Strong project management, financial management, and organisational skillsDemonstrated client management skills.Experience in understanding organisational needs and opportunities in relation to innovation.Skilled in defining briefs, developing strategies, and carrying out feasibility studies.Strong analytical and research skillsDelivery of high-quality technical advice, client reports, technical publications, presentations, and training materials etc.; excellent written report writing skills.Business development skills including meeting potential clients and winning work.Ability to effectively communicate to clients and other stakeholders.
