Clerk of Works | Civil Engineering / Infrastructure | 12+ month contract | Glasgow

Your new company
A 12+ month contract opportunity has become available for an experienced Civils / Infrastructure Clerk of Works, working on some of the most prestigious projects in Glasgow. This contract is due to start immediately, for a minimum duration of 12 months.

Your new role
You will act as a Clerk of Works for a number of high profile civil / infrastructure projects in Glasgow, valued above £25m. You will provide specialist technical support and guidance to the client on site and supervise a range of civils projects including resurfacing, drainage, sewer works, earthworks, urban regeneration and hard & soft landscaping.

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong civil engineering knowledge and technical ability.
• Ability to effectively communicate reports and scopes of work.
• Experience managing / supervising large infrastructure projects in the UK.
• Appropriate qualifications such as an HNC or equivalent in Civil Engineering
• MICWCI would be advantageous but is not essential

What you'll get in return

The hourly rate for this position is negotiable dependent upon experience & preferred pay type, but will be in the region of £20 - £24 per hour. Please note that this role falls in-scope of IR35.
