A medium sized consultancy with a national presence in Scotland and a heavy involvement in the residential, commercial, leisure & retail markets is looking to make a senior level appointment after a very successful 2020.They are very well known in the industry and have a reputation for producing a high level of service which as earned them continual repeat business from clients over the years, and contributed to their ever expanding portfolio.
In spite of the pandemic, this business continued to thrive and continued to hire engineers to keep up with their increasing workload throughout the course of last year, and their workload continues to flourish in 2021. With a solid pipeline of varied and secure work, they are now looking to make a senior appointment to their team and will make a very lucrative offer with excellent benefits to the right individual.

Your new role
Entering a medium sized, established business at Associate level, you will be expected to perform duties including; design, project management, project delivery and dealing directly with clients, contractors and architects.

Internally you will be expected to take responsibility for management of the structural engineering team, delegating workload and contributing to the development of junior engineers and technicians within the business.

What you'll need to succeed

• Chartered Engineer with ICE, IStructE, CEng, or SER
• Demonstrable client liaison and business development skills
• Excellent market knowledge and a strong network of contacts within the industry
• Strong experience within building structures environment, particularly residential, leisure or retail, preferably having gained experience working for a company of a similar size .
• Being a registered SER Certifier is desirable, but not essential
