Assembly Operative (Fitter)

Working in the heavy assembly section of the company helping with the putting together of large one off parts

Your new company
They are a growing manufacturer that provide bespoke products and larger batch orders of smaller components to a range of industries. They are a close knit team with a friendly culture looking to bring someone in to help with the growing order book.

Your new role
This role you will be assembling and fitting parts to large cylinders and rail brushes as well as other more bespoke products too. You will be fitting various pieces in the heavy assembly department with a team of 2 others. You will be working on hydraulic and pneumatics as well. You will be involved in the improvements in the department and you will be ensuring the tools are maintained correctly to continue assembly. The work is quite skilled and requires good use of the hands.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need relevant qualifications or experience in engineering/fitting. You will also need to be flexible with work you do as secondary duties when not as busy will be needed, such as paint spraying or light assembly. You will need to be good working in a team and able to communicate with other sections of the factory. You will need to be skilled with manual skills and different tools.

What you'll get in return
You will receive an hourly rate of £12.08 p/h and will be given 33 days annual leave including bank holidays. You will also be enrolled into the company pension scheme and potential bonus at the end of the year. You will also get to work in friendly environment where you can learn quite a lot.
