Lead Engineer

Our client is a long established, international and award winning multi-discipline engineering consultancy with ambitious plans for growth. They are looking for a Lead Engineer to join their expanding Civil Structures team in Central London and work on predominantly large scale (c.£100m+), high profile infrastructure projects, for a range of Clients in various construction market sectors. The ideal candidate will therefore have experience in major assignments.

Requirements:

• A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering,
• Chartered Engineer IStructE or ICE,
• A working knowledge of structural processes and design with a particular emphasis on data interpretation, design and analysis, construction and advanced numerical modelling,
• Experience of computer analysis of structures and design of structural elements in common material i.e. steel, concrete, composite, fibre reinforced concrete and CFRP,
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of British Standards, Eurocodes, Building Regulations and Health and Safety,
• A willingness to travel is essential for this role,
• Excellent numerical verbal/written communication skills.
