Multi-disciplinary organisation seeking a Geo-environmental consultant to join their London based team

Your new role
The successful candidate will become a part of a busy team and take part delivering focused solutions to their growing client base, with emphasis on technical excellence, client care and project management. You will be working alongside other land contamination, ground investigation, environmental due diligence, and geotechnical specialists to deliver to deliver holistic solutions to clients' needs in these areas. Additionally, you will be collaborating with geo-environmental teams in other offices and other specialists of the planning, environment and engineering teams.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need strong technical knowledge, and be experienced in managing and supervising ground investigation on site, including groundwater and ground gas monitoring and have the skills and knowledge to interpret data. You will be knowledgeable in current practice and governing standards/guidance for the investigation and remediation of contaminated land and be able to produce Phase 1 geo-environmental desk top study reports incorporating preliminary risk assessment and Phase 2 interpretive reports including qualitative and quantitative assessments.
Ideally you will hold a degree in geology, hydrogeology, or relevant environmental science discipline, and be working towards Chartership with a relevant body such as CIWEM IEMA or Geo Soc.
