We are seeking to recruit a Manufacturing Engineer to join a leading global manufacturing firm who specialise in providing connected technology to the automotive sector. Based from their development and manufacturing facility in Antrim you will be join one of Northern Irelands best regarded manufacturing employers and a firm who are committed to developing their people to become best in class in their field.


Your new role
Joining an established and high function team you will be entrusted with developing and modifying manufacturing processes to increase production output, and product performance. The key objective of your role will be to drive efficiencies through developing new manufacturing tools, equipment, and process flows. Working closely with Design Engineer you will aim to improve product design for manufacturability. Using your knowledge and experience you will define specifications for production equipment and interact with mechanization and equipment suppliers. Working in a collaboration with other departments you will contribute to development process specifications, quality and product specifications. You will also be heavily involved with improving manufacturing testing process.


What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in securing the Manufacturing Engineers role you should be coming with a Degree in Engineering and at least 2 years' experience working in a similar role. You should be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to handle multiple demanding tasks. Strong communication, planning and time management skills are also key.
