Project Manager to join leading manufacturing firm in Derry / Londonderry

We are seeking to recruit a Project Manager to join a leading specialist manufacturing firm who produce high end, bespoke automated machinery for a wide range of clients. This innovate and ambitious manufacturer are going through a period of growth and are truly one of NI's most exciting manufacturers. You will be working from their production and office facilities in L/Derry.


Your new role
As the new Project Manager you will play key role in managing the process of transitioning new projects through the manufacturing phases. Working closely with engineering specialists, the automation team and the mechanical build team they will define the plan and execute the transition of new projects from design through to final sign off and customer approval. In your new role you will develop, facilitate and drive the planned design and build of new machines, production lines and robotic cells to meet project timelines and customer expectations. Apply project management tools you will effectively manage the project through the lifecycle to successful delivery, delivering the outcomes as per the agreed project definition. It is important that manage senior stakeholders throughout the project to ensure they are kept informed of progress and that inputs from their areas remain on track.


What you'll need to succeed
To prove successful in securing this role you should be coming with at least 2 years' experience managing complex projects and implementation. You will need the ability to orchestrate and prioritize multiple activities at once to accomplish goals and proven experience of customer focus. A recognised engineering qualification would be highly desirable as would a PM qualification.
