Highways Project Manager - Frameworks

Highways Project Manager based in Derbyshire. Interim contract for 3-6 months, likely to be extended.

Your new role
You will be providing framework and programme management support to the Head of Highways Design to deliver a large and challenging programme of work during a period of ongoing significant re-organisation and change. Your main duties will be:

• Using the Framework Assessment Tool to asses the best framework for each project
• Assessing duration of projects and identifying if a direct award is needed
• Holding briefings with Project Managers and agreeing programme of work
• Set up start up meetings with Frameworks
• Liaising with colleagues in Legal and Procurement Teams

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a Civil Engineer and experienced Manager in highway design and network service management with a demonstrated history of working in the civil engineering industry in local government and consultancy. You are skilled in all aspects of Highway Lifecycles, Management, Contract Management, and Transportation Planning. You must have a thorough understanding of NEC contracts and be an excellent communicator.
