Your new company are a well-established Civil & Structural design consultancy based in Gloucester. They have been carrying out professional & quality engineering support for over 30 years, building fantastic relationships with their trusty client base and are now looking to grow their Civil Engineering team.

Your new role
In your new role you will be joining fantastic team of dedicated civil engineers to undertake the detailed designs for a number of minor & major infrastructure works. You will be carrying out flood risk assessments, flood management, drainage design and strategy, highway and pavement design, statutory consent applications. You will be operating on projects across Commercial, Retail, Engineering and Residential sectors, from complex commercial and retail build to bespoke new build, home extensions and loft conversions.

What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally have a degree in Civil Engineering and be experienced in the design and management of a range of civil engineering works including liaising with external parties, knowledge of civil engineering principles, approval procedures and good numerical and communication skills. Excellent analysis and technical design skills in AutoCAD, WinDES MicroDrainage and Civil 3D (or equivalent design software packages such as PDS) are essential.
