Technical Coordinator

If so then you will be interested to hear that an excellent opportunity has been created by our client, an established multidisciplinary consultancy, who are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Technical Coordinator to join their Civil Engineering team in Hemel Hempstead on a full-time permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical information to the design team, by liaising with external parties, researching sites and researching projects information,
• Set up systems to track and manage information requirements and coordination in accordance with a project programme,
• Work closely with Design Engineers & Technicians to complete applications to external parties,
• Complete simple CAD drawings to aid technical inquiries and assist Design staff.
• Liaise with clients, external project teams and local authorities.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 GCSE's grade A-C including English and Maths, or an equivalent qualification,
• An interest in civil engineering and able to read and understand most of the information on technical engineering drawings,
• Self-motivated, organised and able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and efficiently,
• Proficient with common software such as word, excel, google and project management tools,
• Ability to deal with clients with minimal supervision,
• Ability to speak clearly, confidently, professionally and convincingly at meetings and on the telephone,
• Ability to write clear and concise e-mails, letters and reports,
• Ability to work well with others as part of a team.
• Ideally, will have experience of a similar role and including the use of AutoCAD.
