Your new company is a small but growing structural engineering consultancy based in Greater Manchester. They have a good reputation for a good quality work, and support companies with a wide range of structural design services. In terms of projects they tend to focus on a range of commercial, residential and industrial design schemes. They are now looking for a senior structural engineer to help manage graduates and take

Your new role
In your new role you will working in a very down to earth, mature and hardworking structural engineering team. You will be involved with complex structural design projects using Tekla Structural designer, whilst also completing sound structural calculations. You will be involved with a range of projects, but consult on a number of steel and portal frame projects. You will take a lead on project, conduct site visits and manage a team of graduates/technicians.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you need to come from a strong structural engineering background, having a minimum of 4-5 years working in a structural engineer role. You need to be confident working with tekla and be able to produce solid structural calculations. You also need to have experience managing teams and leading projects.
