The role
Oxford City Council has an opportunity for an experienced Engineering Technician to assist in the delivery of capital projects to all the Council non-housing assets. The successful candidate will also provide general engineering services to support the management of our portfolio of non-housing assets including bridge works, pumping station and flood prevention.

You will be working within an innovative and forward thinking team who provides excellent customer service, where you can use your strong interpersonal and communication skills. The successful candidate will have a proven record of working on construction projects and have a strong technical background.

You will need to be self-motivated, adaptable and flexible in your approach to work and be an effective communicator, possess negotiation and influencing skills with a wide range of stakeholders including customers, partners and external agencies both orally and in writing, including the compilation of reports.
