Opportunity for experienced Civil Design Engineer / Senior Engineer (Drainage) to join reputable consultancy

Your new company
Hays are delighted to be working exclusively with a successful consultancy who have ambitious plans to significantly grow their presence in the Scottish market, aiming to double their headcount in Edinburgh alone within the next 12 months. After a busy 2020, and with a healthy pipeline of work planned for 2021, they are now looking to appoint an Engineer and a Senior Engineer to join their Edinburgh office, which is located just a 10 minute walk away from Haymarket station.


Your new role
You will be working closely with a team of talented and innovative engineers, both in the office (once restrictions allow) and remotely from home. Supporting senior staff, you will provide design input and technical knowledge for a wide range of complex design schemes from concept to detail design. This role is a diverse one and you will be involved in a range of projects including highways, renewable energy, SuDS, and residential design so it will suit if you enjoy being involved with varied project types.
You will play an integral part in helping to achieve the company's future aspirations and growth, and may be rewarded with fast tracked promotions for your efforts.


What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you need to come from a strong civil engineering background,and will have a solid understanding of drainage design standards,. Ideally you will be a competent user of AutoCAD / Civil 3D / Microdrainage packages.
